Getting back to working on paper has enabled me to give up more control to the paint itself...allowing it to bloom and pool and surprise me with its own whims as it decides where to sink into the paper. I am exploring concepts of energy, spirit, and elements unseen as I attempt to lift the veil on the appearance of things and reveal a kind of magical order within.
