THE gESTURE SERIES
There is nothing like a giant statement piece of original art that transforms a space and makes you happy every day. Handmade. A singular moment on canvas that will never happen again. Work like this is typically thousands of dollars and completely out of reach for many of the people who want it the most. I hate that!! Which is why I’ve spent so much time figuring out how to make large, original paintings truly accessible—without sacrificing my creativity or the value of my time and skill.
The Gesture Series is my solution: bold, quick, expressive paintings on unstretched canvas, available for just $500 and released exclusively to my newsletter on the last Friday of every month. They’ll ship rolled in a tube (easy DIY framing instructions included below!), making it possible to collect real, original art without breaking the bank. I really hope this work will make you as happy as it has been making me!
Nervous about Framing? I’ve got you covered. At the bottom of this page I posted a link to a simple, inexpensive framing kit on Amazon that includes everything you need, minus a staple gun. I also made a demo video showing you how to stretch one of my paintings using this exact kit. It’s so easy!!
A few things to know:
—This is a special project for 2025 only.
—Each release will have just 4-6 paintings available.
—This does not change the pricing for any of my other work.

ALL THINGS FRAMING
Wraptek Stretcher Bar Kit (demo below). Be sure to buy the 32”x54” kit!
In order to make DIY framing as easy as possible I set out to find canvas stretching supplies that anyone could buy on Amazon. I was SO surprised and excited to find this kit in the exact right size that includes everything you need, right down to the wire and nail!
**DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH THIS KIT!
Wraptek has created this clever system that uses adhesive strips. I don’t think this pulls the canvas tight enough, and it requires you to cut the canvas, which I’m not into. I repurposed the kit to function more like a traditional canvas stretching system and it is PERFECTION! I love it—so easy and great results. Definitely watch my video below to see how I used it.

Standard Framing Supplies
Stretcher Bars; purchase 2 @ 32” and 2 @54”
Cross Braces, purchase 1 @ 32”, these cross bars come with the attachment hardware.
If you hate Amazon or just want to use more traditional stretcher bars, here are some links to decent bars on Jerry’s Artarama (excellent site for art supplies!). These will function almost exactly the same as the ones I show in the video.
